First Aid - Emergency

Program Description

 

Our Emergency First Aid TCPR/AED training is a condensed program designed to provide participants with fundamental skills and knowledge necessary to respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies in various situations. This one-day course focuses on equipping individuals with the essential tools to assess, prioritize, and administer basic first aid interventions until professional medical help arrives.

 

This program covers the recognition and treatment of airway, breathing, and cardiovascular emergencies. Training includes CPR skills, management of choking, bleeding, shock, and fainting.

 

Learning Outcomes 

By the end of the program, participants will be able to:

  • Define and explain terminology 

  • Identify the EMS system

  • Demonstrate how to respond to emergencies

  • Explore secondary surveys

  • Develop skills to treat airway, breathing and circulation emergencies

  • Identify the 3 key principles in First Aid: Check, Call, Care

  • Recognize and address respiratory & cardiac arrest & wound care

 

Target Audience 

Any workplace with 1-5 employees, or any person who works with children
