Program Description
This Skid Steer program is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of skid steer operation fundamentals. Skid steers are versatile and powerful machines commonly used in construction, landscaping, and various other industries. Participants will gain hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge essential for safe and efficient skid steer operation.
The program covers key aspects such as hazards, inspections, machine controls, basic maneuvers, safe operation, and routine maintenance procedures.

Demonstrate proficiency in operating basic controls, including the joystick and foot pedals

Explain the purpose and function of key components, such as the bucket, lift arms, and hydraulic systems

Execute pre-operation checks and recognize potential hazards

Demonstrate safe entry and exit procedures, as well as proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
